Your Rights

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) grants individuals a number of rights regarding the processing of their personal data. In addition to previously existing rights, the regulation introduces the right to data portability and the right to erasure. In summary, you have the following rights:

Right to withdraw consent – You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, thereby stopping any processing that relies on your prior consent. Withdrawal does not affect the legality of the processing carried out before withdrawal, nor of processing based on other legal grounds such as contract performance, legal obligations, or legitimate interest.

Right of access – You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not we process your personal data and, if so, to access that data and information on how it is being processed.

Right to data portability – You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and to transmit that data to another controller, where technically feasible.

Right to object – You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data where it is carried out based on public interest or legitimate interest. You may also object at any time to processing for direct marketing purposes or when processing is based on your explicit consent.

Right to rectification – You have the right to request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data without undue delay. We will inform all recipients of such rectification, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort.

Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) – You may request the deletion of your personal data, without undue delay, in the following cases:

  • The data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or processed

  • You withdraw your consent and there is no other legal basis for processing

  • You object to processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds

  • The data was processed unlawfully

  • The data must be erased to comply with a legal obligation

  • The data was collected in relation to the offering of information society services

Right to restriction of processing – You may request the restriction of processing if:

  • You contest the accuracy of the data, for a period allowing us to verify it

  • The processing is unlawful and you oppose deletion, requesting restriction instead

  • We no longer need the data, but you require it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims

  • You have objected to processing, pending the verification of whether our legitimate grounds override yours

Right to file a complaint – If you believe your personal data is being processed in breach of applicable laws, you may submit a complaint. For questions or to exercise any of your rights, you may contact our Data Protection Officer using the contact methods listed below.
